JULY  2008

      Friday, 4^th – “Holiday Fun at Coles Creek State Park!” 10am-12pm: crafts & games, Free. 1-2pm & 2:30-3:30pm: Ty-Dyed T-Shirts. Call for details. 4-5pm: Live birds of Prey show. Free.

      Saturday, 5^th – “Holiday Fun at Robert Moses State Park!” 10am-1pm: crafts & games, Free. 2-3pm: Ty-Dyed T-Shirts. Call for details. 4-5pm: Live birds of Prey show. Free.

      Thursday, 24^th – “Carving for Youngins” 10am-1pm. $12. Ages 6-10. Call for details.

      Friday, 25^th – “Carving for Older Kids” 10am-1pm. $15. Call for details.

      Saturday, 26^th – “Oil Painting Class” 10am–2pm. $40. All materials included.

      Every Tuesday, 1^st, 8^th, 15^th, 22^nd & 29^th - “Morning Walking Club” 8-9am. Grab a pal         and come out for a guided walk at the park, then have a snack by the garden. Free.

      Every Wednesday, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th - “Afternoon Nature Hike” 2-3pm. Grab a pal and come out for a guided hike along one of our trails. Free.

      Every Thursday, 3^rd, 10^th, 17^th, 24^th & 31^st. “GPS Fun” 10-11:30am. All ages are invited to bring their own GPS or use one of ours to find a hidden treasure along one of the trails! GPS basics will be covered before the scavenger hunt. Free.

      Every Friday, 4^th, 11^th, 18^th & 25^th – “Campfire Cooking” 7-8pm. Come enjoy a different treat each week. Storytelling, songs and other activities also planned. Fee: $1 donation.

      Every Saturday, 5^th, 12^th, 19^th & 26^th. “Morning Bird Walk” 8:30-9:30am. Come out to discover what birds are in our woods. Bird guide books and binoculars available. Free.

      AUGUST  2008

      Monday 18^th – Friday 22^nd , “Wild About Wetlands DayCamp” 10am-2pm. 5^th-7^th .
